CHALLENGES
- PPPMI had outgrown the current Inventory management system called SBT
- All the data was parallelly maintained in spreadsheets manuall
- Daily Inventory reports required them to look at 10 different spreadsheets to consolidate them into a single On Hand Report
- Operations had to manually track the Bulk Orders for consumed and remaining Inventory
- The accounting department had to consolidate reports from two different systems to be able to reconcile and close the period
In short, all the processes were very manual and paper-driven, and was inhibiting the company's ability to scale and grow
